Bio: Curtis S. BrambleCurtis S. Bramble, CPA and Senate Majority Leader, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. After beginning his college career at the University of Notre Dame, he earned his Bachelors and Masters degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University. He founded Bramble & Company CPA’s in 1986, and in 2001, after being elected to the Utah Senate, merged with Gilbert & Stewart CPA’s in Provo. Senator Bramble is a fixed wing and hot air balloon a pilot and owns Stars & Stripes, Inc., a hot air balloon company, with former Utah House Majority Leader, Jeff Alexander. He and his family are actively involved in motorcycle touring, mountain climbing, scouting, antique automobiles, skydiving, skiing, backpacking, fishing, hunting, scuba diving, and boating at Lake Powell. Elected to the Utah State Senate in November 2000, Bramble is in his second term in the Utah Senate, where he currently serves as Senate Majority Leader. Senator Bramble is actively involved in the Republican Party at the local, state and national levels, currently serves on the Provo Rotary Club Board of Directors, and is the State Chair of the American Legislative Exchange Council. He is married to Susan Mackay of Provo, and they are the parents of six children and four wonderful granddaughters and one grandson. |
